These terms apply to thechipmunksdance.com ("the site", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The AI video generator and payments are not available yet. The sections about them apply once they launch.

Unofficial fan site

The site is an unofficial fan site about a dance trend. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paramount Pictures or the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. Character names, songs and other trademarks or copyrighted works mentioned on the site belong to their owners.

Who can use the site

You must have reached the age of digital consent where you live (13 to 16 in most countries) to create an account, upload photos or buy credits. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity in your account. Tell us at support@thechipmunksdance.com if you think someone else has used it.

The AI video generator

• The generator creates a dance video from one to three photos you upload.
• Each generation uses credits. Prices and the number of credits in each pack are shown before you pay.
• If a generation fails, the credits it used are returned to your balance.
• Generated videos are produced automatically by AI. They may contain errors or artifacts and may not look like the people in your photos.

Photos you upload

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

• you took the photo or have the right to use it;
• every person pictured has agreed to it being used to make an AI video, and you are the parent or legal guardian of any child pictured.

You must not upload photos that:

• contain nudity, sexual content or content that sexualizes anyone;
• show a person who has not agreed to their image being used, including public figures;
• are meant to harass, bully, defame, deceive or impersonate anyone;
• break any law or someone else's rights.

You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store and process them, and to send them to our AI model provider, only to generate and deliver your videos. Our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep them.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Generated videos

You may download and share the videos you generate for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for how you use and share them, including any music you add and following the rules of the platforms you post to. Do not present a generated video as real footage of an event that did not happen.

Purchases and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Payments are processed by our payment processor. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: do not break the law, try to get into systems or data you are not allowed to access, disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or resell access to the generator.

The site's content

The guides and articles on the site are provided for information and entertainment. The text and design of the site belong to us, apart from third-party material that belongs to its owners.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Ending use

You can stop using the site and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
